WELCOME

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Zervas Families,

Welcome to the Zervas Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The Zervas PTO is committed to promoting the core values that guide the school, and to enhancing the education of our children. Our efforts primarily focus on three areas:

1. Strengthening a sense of community by bringing families together.
2. Harnessing the energy, expertise, and enthusiasm of parents who want to volunteer in and for the school.
3. Raising money to support the school and to provide important programs.

All Zervas parents, faculty and staff are automatically members of the PTO. The PTO depends heavily on parents to fill the many and varied roles in our organization. We welcome your help, as parent participation plays a significant role in making Zervas a better place for all of our children.

This handbook was designed to inform you about the PTO as well as how you can get involved. If you have any questions, ideas, or want to learn more about volunteering with the PTO email pto@zervaspto.org. We look forward to hearing from you!

For the 2022-2023 school year, we hope to return to the PTO’s traditional calendar of events and activities, so we will recruit volunteers accordingly. If we need to make adjustments for public health or other considerations, we will work with volunteers to find other engagement opportunities.
